If you’ve used Twitch on any other device, you should get right at home with the new Switch. This is available in both docked and handheld modes and functions exactly as you would expect. It allows users to sign in and access their followed channels or to browse content to the best of its kind. It’s impossible to stream from Switch, but that’s one more constraint: a stream cannot be viewed in the docked or mobile modes. They should scan QR codes and call to read or chat while a stream plays a stream. It seems a bit odd when you watch the big screen, but with handheld mode sometimes it’s very annoying. A hat with a jack. With respect to the development delay, the new Twitch app is a welcome addition to Switch. The service still has limited streaming capabilities four years after launch. The fourth streaming service to come to the console is based on your location. It’s joined YouTube, Hulu and Funimation.
