The maps were fun to watch, starting with the win Bind and getting Acend to win Ascent. The next map went to Gambit. Icebox looked close, but Acend pulled through and took the map to 5. Split was seven o’clock at halftime, but rounds began to run out. A player grew up in the middle of every round, making a massive play for them to win the round. The team had considerable work to get to this point. Acend started after a former roster disbanded after a Riot sponsorship. After many attempts, they managed to win the European Masters 1. The team faced a tough time. Players moved around. They missed their chance to get to Reykjavik and fell short in Berlin, losing to 100 Thieves. They had enough points to reach VALORANT Champions without going through the LCQ. The rest is history. Acend made it out of groups, and beat Team Liquid, Team Secret and then, now, Gambit Esports to become VALORANT Champions.
