Tom Henderson, who was the primary leaker for Star Wars Eclipse before its announcement, recently took to Twitter to share more information about the game or, more specifically, its development. According to Henderson, Quantic Dreams main studio in Paris is writing games story, the controversial studio head David Cage has been very involved in this project. That said, Quantic Dream Paris has been caught in a wave of controversies in recent years due to a high volume of reports of toxic workplace culture and persistent issues arising from the top of the studio and its own players being masked with recruiting for the games development. As with Star Wars Eclipse, that’s an open world title, although the official official confirmed that hasn’t yet been recognized yet, it’s another hurdle that Quantic Dream faces, as is its studio’s engine being incapable of achieving that purpose. According to Henderson, Star Wars Eclipse is at least 3-4 years away from launch- if the earlier than mentioned developments are inexplicable, which they are pretty well considered, it’s not surprising that the games have quite a large number of things to go. The best part of the dev’s side is their QD engine, which wasn’t built for an open-world title. There are currently 60+ jobs for Quantic Dream Paris and 9 in Montreal. https://t.co/b4lumbQmnN.
