The investment is valued at $6 million and will see 1,780 homes and businesses hooked up to the high-speed Internet in Humber Village, Little Rapids and Bell Island. To help ensure a reliable connection on Bell Island, a new wireless tower is set to be built and the existing tower will be upgraded. In the past year, when the Canadians relyed more on connectivity than ever before, we invested much in our network to connect communities across the Atlantic. Rogers 2020 investments in the Atlantic provinces resulted in an economic footprint of 620 million dollars.
