Pokemon Here’s a peek at today’s press release: Today the Pokemon Company announced a final episode of Pokemon Evolutions, a new animated limited series conceived to celebrate 25 years of global entertainment franchise. The 8-episode series brought fans through all the known regions of the Pokemon world, which have been explored in the popular core video game since their launch 25 years ago. Each episode, where regions went down in reverse chronological order to their initial discovery, reopened into familiar [tales] fresh perspectives. This episode is about the discovery of the Kanto area where the first Chinese language was established. They can watch that scene here. The Kanto-themed celebrations will continue next year in Niantic’s mobile app, the Pokemon GO, with a ticketed live event celebrating the Kanto region.Pokemon GO Tour: Live will take place after a digital Johto event and be dialed back to Generation One, offering the first in-person events associated with the app since early 2020. The year 2021 saw a return to live events for Niantic, but all of those gatherings were made-up events for already canceled festivities from the previous year.
