The update gives players much more control over what kind of game they want to bring in and improves the games’ UI, as well as selecting maps and modes. Players can now navigate the menus much easier, akin to the present and saved modes. Before the update, players who play custom game modes can only create their game mode and play with friends. Aside from today’s update, players can adapt their matches much more with traits that allow for bigger matches and endless possibilities. An example is that one team’s health would suffer, but no portals could be used, while another team’s health may be slammed. These changes can add a lot of fun to the game. The developers announced that players are given the same time, when beginning in December, that they will begin the season 1 game. The December Battle Pass will allow players to download new cosmetics and content. Splitgate is scheduled to be launched in 2022. Players can use the free open beta today.
