According to Journal of Life, over the weekend, Halo developer 343 Studios started the Halo Championship Series 2021: Kickoff Major in Raleigh. For that, Xbox Series X consoles were required for tournament participants, but 343 couldn’t find enough of them. In the tweet by Tashi, Halo Esports and Viewership Lead at Microsoft/343 Industries, the global supply chain shortage is real. Tweet Everybody is struggling to purchase the new generation of console hardware, but when it comes to the tournament of the first year that must have consoles, 343 have to think outside the box. The solution was sitting on the 343 offices in form of computer science & animation. These kits are used in games like this. They typically have more RAM, look more like a desktop PC, and have more functionality so developers can see how games use this hardware more closely. Tashi incorporated the possibility that, in the tournament, they subsequently became a dealer for the tournament. They were both in a retail mode with the promises that they were functionally identical to everyone. If you’re trying and fail to find an Xbox Series X, you at least know that even Microsoft is facing the same problem, but thankfully, it’s not enough to retire the stock of the store for tournaments.
