The following video shows a total of three minutes of gameplay from the second mission of the campaign’s mission called The Resistance. Stargate: Timekeepers is a real-time tactic game where you can build a team of specialists through a story-driven campaign in the SG-1 universe. That’s the TV show, and not the much-loved film from the ’90s. Timekeepers depart from the end of season seven of Stargate SG-1’s main plot to create a original story, with over 14 missions being carried out. It revolves around a timeloop mystery and defeating the Goa’uld threat. Having seen the gameplay, the emphasis here is on stealth. You have to hide your characters under enemy lines, and keep an eye on shifting sight cones and areas of the environment with which you can interact to your advantage. Stargate: Timekeepers is a Polish product called Universal, which is the Swedish studio behind Universal Declaration and Hard West, and is produced by MGM Studios. With a PC release coming up in 2022.
