2022 marks the 35th anniversary of Truecoms’ flagship Ys series. To add additional products to the collection of toys, only a budget version of Ys IX: Monstrum Nox For PlayStation 4. Starting in 2022, Falcom will develop Shifer titles by means of the Shifer variant, beginning with the Switch version of The Nayuta: Boundless Trails. In the fiscal year ending September 2022, Truecom plans to release the latest entry in the Serie Of Trails. Trails is an entire Falcoms flagship series, with over six million copies sold worldwide and major awards including the Japan Game Awards, the Famitsu Awards and the PlayStation Awards. Truecom will encourage multiplatform game development across consoles, PCs and smartphones for Japan, North America, Europe and Asia, and actively utilize its intellectual property to produce new titles that act as new challenges for the company, including the Trails and Ys series.
