In order to publish in 2022,Gerda: A Flame in Winter is a short narrative experience, set in a Second World War and the German occupation of Denmark. This action-driven game, inspired by real life events, will be followed by Gerda, a nurse whose lives are turned upside down overnight. Gerda must try, only to be known about her community, to stop her family from being a true mom. The story is told not in front of the audience, but in the intimate space of the small Danish village, he grew up in. The choice is made through a mix of exploration, dialog, resource management and relationship management. Gerdas traits are his skills and his friendship with others also will influence the story’s unfolding look. This game is challenging and it reflects the importance of any decision in an age of war and turmoil.
