The broadcaster gained 2,1 million new subscribers, about seven million less than a previously predicted 9 million figure ballpark. This was Disney+’s lowest quarterly growth since its founding two years ago. The streaming service currently sits at 118,1 million people in total. Even though Disneyland closed last spring, the profits from the company fell short of analyst expectations. Due to the underwhelming subscriber growth, Disney is offering one-month subscription for 1,99 dollars for Disney+ Day. The subscription fee typically goes from $20-$1. On November 12, Disney will reveal a slew of new content that’s coming Disney+, as well as special presentations that will let you see the latest in the services of all its different brands, including Marvel and Pixar.
